Make Information Flow

Systems Integration & Reporting

Connect the tools your business relies on and make operational information easier to trust, use, and maintain.

01

When Disconnected Tools Create Work

A team may enter the same customer details several times, reconcile conflicting reports, or rely on one person to move information between systems. These workarounds are signals to investigate the flow of data.

Integration begins with definitions and ownership: which system creates a record, what identifies it, who can change it, and which events should trigger work elsewhere.

02

Map The Information Journey

  • CRM, forms, booking, payment, project, and reporting systems in use.
  • Record identifiers, required fields, duplicate handling, and update rules.
  • API availability, subscription restrictions, rate limits, and permissions.
  • Reporting definitions and the difference between missing, delayed, and incorrect information.
  • Recovery procedures when a connection fails or a record cannot be processed.
03

What We Can Connect

  • Website enquiries to CRM records and assigned follow-up tasks.
  • Customer status updates between sales and delivery teams.
  • Bookings and operational events to appropriate notifications.
  • Data sources to dashboards with agreed metric definitions.
  • Legacy exports to controlled import and reconciliation workflows.
04

Design For Exceptions

We test successful updates alongside duplicates, missing fields, access failures, and delayed delivery. Logs and alerts should help an owner understand what happened and how to recover.

The scope may require historical data cleanup before automation begins. Connecting inconsistent records faster does not make the underlying information reliable.

05

Judge The Quality Of The Information

Measures can include manual handling time, duplicate rates, failed updates, reporting delay, and reconciliation effort. We define acceptable tolerances and the person responsible for reviewing exceptions.

A dashboard is useful only when its definitions are understood. We document how each metric is calculated and where the source data comes from.

Common Questions

Can Every Tool Be Integrated?

No. Feasibility depends on APIs, exports, permissions, and vendor terms. We investigate supported methods and explain any limitations before recommending a build.

Do We Need A New CRM?

Not automatically. Configuration, data cleanup, or a focused connection may be enough. Replacing the CRM should have a clear operational justification.
